Biography

Agneta Karlsson holds an MS and PhD in Business Administration from University of Lund, Sweden. Her recent research has centred on the governance and economies of subnational island jurisdictions. Karlsson has held associate professorships and directorships at University of Lund, Copenhagen Business School, and the Norwegian School of Management. She is a board member of Bank of Åland, Mariehamn; Viking Line Abp, Mariehamn; the Åland Chamber of Commerce; and Åland Polytechnics.
