Submit a proposal for Indigenous Communities, Indigenous Spaces.

Call for Papers

Indigenous Communities, Indigenous Spaces

1-5 October 2018, Pongso no Tao, Taiwan

The deadline for abstracts is 30 November 2017. (Later abstracts may be accepted if there is room available at the conference, but people who submit an abstract prior to the deadline will have the first opportunity to reserve a spot and to take advantage of the early registration rate.)

This conference considers tradition and change in the context of the Indigenous spaces in which lives are lived and in which globalisation occurs. Because the conference consists of workshops, discussions, and presentations, it is possible to attend the conference without submitting a proposal for a formal presentation.

Presentations last a maximum of 15 minutes, followed by around 5 minutes’ audience discussion. These talks may be accompanied by PowerPoint presentations.

Proposing a presentation.

To propose a presentation, fill in the form to the right.

Abstract: The abstract of your talk must be between 150-200 words total, including title. Shorter or longer submissions may be ignored. Do not format the text using italics, bold, or underlined words, and avoid discipline-specific jargon and citations to other works.

Biographical Note: Your biographical note (maximum 100 words) should be written in complete sentences and include your research areas, academic degree, and affiliation as applicable. If the presentation has more than one author, the corresponding author should provide biographical notes for the other authors as well.
